Slocum-Dickson Medical Group Reunites Departments to Elevate Patient Care
New Hartford, NY: Slocum-Dickson Medical Group (SDMG) is making significant developments aimed at elevating the standard of patient care. Effective December 31, 2023, services provided at the Ilion campus will move to the Burrstone Road and Business Park Drive campuses. This strategic initiative is designed to unite SDMG departments and teams, fostering a more efficient and collaborative environment for both our valued patients and dedicated staff.
A decade ago, SDMG physicians generously donated the Ilion building to The ARC Herkimer to support their growing needs. However, SDMG continued operations at the location due to space constraints in New Hartford. The recent addition of the state-of-the-art Business Park Campus has now provided SDMG with an opportunity to optimize space utilization, reunite departments, and return space to the ARC Herkimer.
“We are committed to delivering exceptional care,” said Dr. Alexander Harris, President of Slocum-Dickson Medical Group. “We are sincerely thankful to the ARC Herkimer for allowing us to use the Ilion space when the New Hartford campus reached capacity. Reuniting departments and teams will not only boost efficiency but also raise the overall standard of care for our patients.”
Patients who received care at the Ilion location will be contacted by Slocum-Dickson Medical Group regarding office locations and any necessary schedule adjustments.
